UPDATE! Kahikoluamea Writing and Math Tutoring services will be moved to Lama Library starting Monday, November 23, 2009.

Because of the recent construction noise and dust, Tutoring will be held in the Library. There will be a marked table near the back of the first floor of the Library reserved for tutoring. Please come and visit us there!

We appreciate your patience and understanding during the renovation of 'Iliahi!

Tutoring & Peer Mentoring at the Kahikoluamea Center

The Kahikoluamea Center provides free tutoring in Math and writing for students currently enrolled at KCC. Tutors are available Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) when school is in session—Fall, Spring and Summer sessions. For more information on tutoring and mentoring services, please click on the appropriate link: Math, Writing, Peer Mentoring. For current hours, please see Tutor Schedules.

Students are encouraged but not required to make an appointment to receive tutoring services. Appointments can be made at the Kahikoluamea Center.

*Please note: Tutors and peer mentors are not allowed to do students’ work for them. The goal of Kahikoluamea’s tutoring and peer mentoring services is to support students in their own learning.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns regarding the tutoring and peer mentoring services, please contact Learning Support Coordinator Dr. Meredith Lee.

You may also leave anonymous feedback on our Tutoring Program survey. Mahalo!
